Dea Oidekivi

Dea Oidekivi is a publishing professional with over 10 years of experience in the Estonian book market. During this time, she has published more than 120 books across a wide range of categories, building a strong understanding of what makes a book resonate with readers and reach the sales charts.

Her background includes working at Estonia’s largest book retail company, where she gained in-depth insight into how the local market operates. She understands the full lifecycle of a book: from acquisition and positioning to sales performance, distribution, warehouse processes and marketing. This experience has given her a practical, data-informed perspective on how manuscripts become bestsellers.

Building on this experience, Dea Oidekivi founded publishing and consulting company — Dea kirjastus. What began as hands-on work in the industry evolved naturally into an independent venture focused on developing strong books and guiding authors and publishers with strategic, market-driven insight.

Over the years, she has collaborated with authors, editors, designers, printing houses and distributors, managing projects with a clear strategic focus and a strong commitment to excellence. Several of the books Dea has published have received industry recognition and awards.
